01
SUBMIT YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION
Submission of your son's application with the non-refundable application fee automatically registers him for the January 2024 High School Placement Test (HSPT).
*The HSPT is not required for transfer applicants*
02
UPLOAD TRANSCRIPTS/REPORT CARD & REQUEST SCHOOL RECOMMENDATION THROUGH THE APPLICATION PORTAL
Upload all required documents and send recommendation requests easily through your online admissions portal.
As part of the admissions process, it is important for us to hear directly from your son’s current school, to the extent it is possible.
Therefore, we ask for one (1) teacher recommendation and one (1) administrator recommendation be submitted to support your son’s application.
What we seek is an academic evaluation of your son’s performance in class, along with some basic, general administrative information, provided by someone that knows your son, and his school record, well. Ideally, this would be a current classroom teacher, counselor, or school administrator (principal, vice principal, assistant principal, etc.).
Since the School Recommendation often provides valuable context when considering a student’s application, we encourage you to consider who might best be able to provide the information we seek.
While we understand they may be willing to support your son’s application, a School Recommendation submitted by a sports coach, friend, or community member is not as helpful in the context of our needs, and should not be submitted in place of school academic or administrative personnel.
You can upload unofficial copies of Transcripts/Report Cards that you have received in the mail or have retrieved (downloaded/printed) from an online student information system. You will not need to contact your son’s school for official copies of these documents.
Transcripts/report cards should include all academic work completed for the entirety of 7th grade, plus also all academic work completed for the first semester/trimester of 8th grade. Our admissions portal will allow you to upload multiple pages. Alternatively, you may choose to scan multiple pages into a single document for upload
